The new route from Bradley International Airport, or BDL, to Detroit Metro Airport, or DTW, in Michigan, launched Thursday morning.

Spirit Airlines has begun a new direct flight between Bradley International Airport and Detroit Metro Airport in Michigan.

Spirit will also begin flying nonstop from BDL to Nashville International Airport (BNA) in Tennessee beginning in August.
