Negotiations between city officials and the school board over the purchase and long-term sustainability of the Korpi Ice Rink facility have begun, Bayonne Mayor Jimmy Davis recently announced.

About 350 people were in the complex, which includes the Korpi Ice Rink and the high school. The ice rink is being used as a vaccine distribution center during the coronavirus pandemic.
