Buffalo Schools and Williamsville Central are among districts to announce schedule changes due to a heat wave, in which temperatures in the high 80s or low 90s will be accompanied by high humidity.

An earlier start to the 2026-2027 school year, sustainable energy uses and handbook policies were discussed and acted on at the June 10 School Committee meeting.
