One hundred and forty years ago, the Rev. Samuel K. Taylor gave birth to Bethlehem Baptist Church. He didn't have a pulpit to preach from, and his followers didn't have a building to worship in.

Bethlehem Baptist Church in Wise will hold Vacation Bible School on June 16, 17 and 18 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. The Rev. Dr. Lamonte Williams is the senior pastor.
