The Monkey Valley exhibit at the zoo opened in 1999 and remains an engaging “in-the-round” exhibit where two primate species coexist: the black-and-white colobus and black mangabeys.
The Dallas Zoo’s black-and-white colobus monkey troop has grown by one after a surprise birth last month. The yet-to-be-named monkey was born Jan. 26 to first-time mom Pili and dad Kuruka.
