Memphis director Craig Brewer is set to a direct a Snoop Dogg biopic that will star Jonathan Daviss of "Outer Banks" fame.

Brewer, known for "Hustle & Flow" and "Dolemite Is My Name," has worked with Snoop Dogg previously. Craig Brewer is set to direct a Snoop Dogg biopic, the Memphis-based filmmaker confirmed June 9.
