House and Senate budget negotiators have agreed on a deal for the fiscal year 2026 budget, determining how taxpayer money will be spent for the next year in the Bay State.

The former Red Carpet Inn on Northern Boulevard in Albany will soon be transformed. $92 million was secured for the new affordable housing unit with construction scheduled to begin this summer.
