GOWANUS — A VIRTUAL MEETING to update the Gowanus community on the Combined Sewer Overflow retention tank project will take place Tuesday, Dec. 10, at 6:30 p.m.
The city touted the biggest single infrastructure investment in its history — a 1.7-million-gallon combined sewer overflow storage tank and lift station on the city's southwest side.
The $39,679,000 project includes the construction of a 6.1 million-gallon CSO-052 overflow storage tank. “It’s a combined overflow, so it’s storm and sewer,” he said.
