The star logo used was plain navy blue during those 4 years. 1964 - 1965 The Cowboys got rid of both the stars on the shoulder sleeves of their jerseys while introducing three stripes on that place.

The new look includes the lone star logo at midfield, maroon endzones, maroon trim around each endzone and “HOME OF THE 12TH MAN” and “G.R.I.N.D.” along the sidelines.
