Hundreds of Walt Disney Co., employees, in television, film and corporate financial operations, were notified Monday that their jobs are being cut amid declining TV ratings and revenue.

The cuts come just a few months after Disney laid off nearly 200 staffers across its TV and ABC News operations in March, after the company let go 75 across ABC News and local stations in October 2024. Last September, the company let go about 300 employees across multiple corporate departments, including HR, legal and finance in the U.S.

The move, which is part of the entertainment giant's ongoing efforts to cut costs, will not result in the elimination of entire teams, an individual familiar with the matter tells TheWrap. The latest round of layoffs marks the fourth and largest impacting Disney's TV operations,
