The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Monday (April 7) confirmed the appointment of James Pamment as the national team's fielding coach until the ICC ODI World Cup in October-November 2027.

The most specialised position within the team and the most used is the wicketkeeper. The keeper stands behind the stumps, although further back if the bowler is quicker.
