An earthquake near Greenback, Tennessee, shook East Tennessee early Saturday morning. It was the largest quake in the region since 2018.

A 4.1 magnitude earthquake struck East Tennessee, with residents feeling tremors and officials evaluating aftermath possibilities. No significant damage was reported, but aftershocks remain a concern.

The quake hit around 9 a.m. local time, about 13 miles from Greenback, Tennessee, which is about 30 miles south of Knoxville, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
