After a tornado destroyed Skateworld in 2023, some feared the beloved skating rink would not reopen, but it has returned better than ever.

The Diné Skate Garden Project began in 2021 as an initiative to help inspire kids on the Navajo Nation through skateboarding. The non-profit is raising money to deliver 2,000 skateboards and helmets.
