Plans for the brand-new Hums Elementary School building in Mishawaka are coming together nicely, say school officials.

Goshen Community Schools announced the appointment of the next principal for West Goshen Elementary School following the approval from the GCS Board of Trustees at their Monday meeting.

The increase outpaces the state, which has seen slightly less than a 2% increase in scores. MCS believes this is from the switch in reading curriculum in 2023.
