President Donald Trump on Monday delivered a blow to the private-sector middlemen who negotiate U.S. drug prices in his executive order on drug pricing, saying he would cut them out as part of a goal to bring the U.

The executive order directs Trump's administration to take actions against "discriminatory" policies in foreign countries that suppress drug prices.

The new pricing policy seeks to reduce the cost the government pays for medications to those comparable to what other countries pay.
