There are four major Iowa DOT road construction projects on highways and interstates to look out for around the Des Moines metro this summer.

"We have more opportunities for additional flights once the terminal opens," the airport's executive director said.

Travelers can expect more security screening options, more dining and retail outlets and a new meet-and-greet space.
