Staff Sgt. Shelbe Butner and Spc. Jacob Mullen, both motor transport operators, died in a single-vehicle accident during a field training exercise on Thursday night.
According to officials at Fort Stewart, the two soldiers were assigned to the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division.
