It is with an abundance of sadness that the family of Gertrude C. Everly announce her passing. On February 2, 2025, at the age of 81, Gertrude left her life on earth after a brief and sudden illness.

Gertrude Abercrombie spent most of her life in Chicago, where she accumulated a wide circle of friends in the cultural sphere, becoming known as ‘queen of the bohemian artists’.
