When students and staff leave Hawthorne on the last day of school, they won’t know if they are saying goodbye until next year or goodbye forever.

After hours of meetings and public comment periods, a decision will be made about the future of Hawthorne Elementary School. The board of trustees will also look at two possible new bonds for voters.
