Feb. 14—MILAN — The Friends of the Hennepin Canal will host its next "Hike the Hennepin" event at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 16 at the steel dam, 298 14th St. NE, Milan. There is no fee to join the hike.

HENNEPIN, Ill. — May's Friends of the Hennepin Canal "Hike the Hennepin" event will be held on May 19 at 1:30 p.m. The crew will meet at Lock 11, just north of Tiskilwa, and walk to Lock 6.
