NEBRASKAland Days Festival officially kicks off Wednesday in North Platte, launching 10 full days of family fun and activities that celebrate the area’s rich western heritage.

"Awards, accolades and presentations" accounted for 10 minutes of the North Platte City Council's 20-minute Tuesday meeting on the eve of Nebraskaland Days.

A Norfolk attorney has been selected by Gov. Jim Pillen to serve as a district court judge in the Fifth Judicial District.
