Le Sueur-Henderson Elementary took a step back in time, as fourth- and fifth-grade students put on their cowboy hats and bonnets for an immersive trip into the 19th century.

While many are off due to President’s Day, Laredo ISD took the day to teach kids the history of how the third Monday in February became a federal holiday.

President's Day has a special connection to the city of Midland, as the home of both President George H.W. Bush and George W.
