This week, in immigration court in Dallas, as well as in immigration courts across the country, some immigrants who attended their scheduled hearings were arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agents.

An attorney told KERA she saw at least three men detained after they had been told their deportation cases were dismissed. "When they step out in the hallway, that's where ICE is waiting for them.”

An immigration lawyer says she personally witnessed ICE agents, wearing street clothes, detain at least three people in the hallway outside an immigration courtroom in Dallas on Thursday.
