The coplanar waveguide fed slot antenna with inset L-stripe tuning stub is proposed for UWB applications. The antenna consists of two rectangular slots separated by center strip with CPW feed line.

A practical way to adjust the input impedance of a rectangular patch antenna is to vary the feed position. The inset-fed patch provides a method of impedance control with a planar feed configuration.
