Israel has banned the pan-Arab Al Jazeera network and accused six of its Gaza reporters of being militants. The Qatar-based broadcaster denies the allegations and accuses Israel of trying to silence its war coverage, which has focused heavily on civilian casualties from Israeli military operations.

The United States said it struck targets in Yemen's rebel-held capital in December, hours after a Huthi rebel missile wounded people in Israel. But a nighttime picture of a massive fire repeatedly shared on social media does not show the US strike.

The strike hit while a U.N. delegation was present. Three people died, according to Houthi-controlled media, and a World Food Program-contracted worker was hurt.
