Second lady Usha Vance, the wife of Vice President JD Vance, was present across the inauguration day festivities in Washington on Monday. Many on the internet were wondering about her pink coat and dress.

On Monday morning, Vance wore a custom peony cashmere coat from Oscar de la Renta, the fashion house posted to X, along with a scarf wrap and a tea-length dress. Since the coat is custom, the price is unknown, but Oscar de la Renta's site lists coats ranging from $3,490 to just under $9,000.

Usha Chilukuri Vance, the wife of Middletown native and Vice President-elect JD Vance, will make history Monday. With her husband set to serve alongside President-elect Donald Trump, Usha Vance will become the first Indian American second lady in the White House. She will also be the first Hindu second lady.
