Spider-Man might have suited up on Wednesday during the Nationals-Tigers game. In actuality, though, it was Nationals center fielder Jacob Young who pulled out some heroics in the top of the ninth inning with an incredible catch in which he scaled the wall to rob an extra-base hit.
In the ninth inning of Washington's 9-4 win over the Detroit Tigers, Young started tracking a deep shot from Riley Greene that appeared to be on pace for a solo home run. But as he got to the wall, Young didn’t hesitate. He planted both feet onto the wall, climbed up and snagged the ball before it could cross over.
Young went 2-for-4 with a stolen base in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Brewers.

Jacob Young races to the left-center gap and makes a leaping catch on the track to take potential extra bases away from Brice Turang in the bottom of the 7th inning
The absence ends a run of 22 straight starts for Young, who posted a .219/.287/.260 slash line with just three extra-base hits during that stretch. Alex Call is starting in center field and batting fifth Friday for Washington.
