The Fram2 will be the first time humans will orbit Earth's polar regions after it took off from Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center on Monday, March 31, 2025.

CALIFORNIA — The four-person civilian Fram2 mission returned home in a splash down off the coast of California on Friday after being the first humans to orbit Earth's polar regions.

As of June 26, 2025, there are currently 7,875 Starlink satellites in orbit, of which 7,855 are working, according to Astronomer Jonathan McDowell, who tracks the constellation on his website.
