It may not seem like much but the Colorado State Rams getting former Pittsburgh Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert in the building is absolutely massive for the present and future of Jay Norvell's Group of Five-contending football program.

After spending a few years out of football, Kevin Colbert has reemerged in the college ranks. According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, the former Steelers executive is joining Colorado State as a consultant.

Colbert is off to Colorado State in a consultant role, per ESPN college football insider Pete Thamel on Thursday. The Rams will be getting a past front office executive who spent 2016 to 2022 as vice president and GM of the Steelers.
