SC Sen. Matt Leber's boat, stranded on a Charleston creek for nearly a year, was salvaged and destroyed as part of a 4-day effort to clean up waterways.

The schooner was commissioned by Gen. Patton just before World War II, and now tours Great Lakes ship festivals.
