A recall of about 39,000 John Deere ZTrak zero-turn mowers with Kawasaki engines is underway in the U.S. The voltage regulators in the engines can fail and lead to overheating.

The recalled John Deere mowers have serial numbers Z720E, Z730M, Z740R and Z760R. The recalled mowers have the model number and “John Deere” printed on the front of the mower below the seat.
