PESHAWAR / ISLAMABAD: Six carriages of the Jaffar Express train were derailed after being hit by a bomb planted near the railway track in Pakistan on Wednesday.
Also on June 13, Quetta-bound Jaffar Express coming from Peshawar derailed near Margalla tunnel in Taxila, causing suspension of railway traffic on Rawalpindi-Peshawar section.
The case dates back to 2021 when Zaheer Jaffar tortured and killed Noor Mukaddam in Islamabad. The trial court sentenced him to death for the murder and life imprisonment for the rape.
