Since 2019, Kathy Schroeder has watched the progress of an unexpectedly large home in her rural Cache Valley town. More recently, she noticed it go up for sale, initially listed for about $35 million.

The mansion boasts a 40,000-square-foot home, an underground tunnel connecting to an unfinished 20,000-square-foot pool barn, and an underground raceway.
