Taylor Swift ’s many fans celebrated the pop superstar finally purchasing the masters of her Big Machine albums (the first six studio albums in her discography) by throwing a consumption party, flooding digital services to download more of her albums and stream more of her songs.

Taylor Swift announced she has taken ownership of the masters of her first six albums, ending a battle that began in 2019 when her discography up to that point was acquired by celebrity manager Scooter Braun.

Swift revealed that she has finally bought back the rights to her first six albums after a yearslong fight to regain control of her music.
