The factual basis of a pre-indictment plea agreement signed and later abandoned by former Major League Baseball player Yasiel Puig Valdés will be excluded at trial, the Ninth Circuit said Thursday.

The lawsuit details what it claimed was a pattern of the now-former baseball coach bullying the couple’s son between 2021 and 2024 at Basic High School.
