The new community center includes a food bank, library and outdoor amphitheater as it continues to rebuild from a tragic wildfire in 2020.

Mayor Dan Harwood said the building’s grand opening marked the beginning of a new future for Malden. “We want to remember the past and honor the past, but we’re moving forward,” Harwood said.
