On Friday, a 25-year time capsule was unveiled at Highland Elementary School. Former student, Elliott Hawkins, now 35, attended the event, where he reminisced on his youth.

For the first time in the pageant's 75-year history Butte will host the Miss Montana Miss Montana Teen event at the Mother Lode Theater June 20th and June 21st.
