SpaceX shared a video in which founder Elon Musk gave a timeline for the company's Starship to reach Mars in the years ahead.

Starship is expected to be used for the Artemis III crewed moon mission, and the eventually trek to Mars. Once fully operational, the plan is for the Super Heavy boosters to be launched and caught back at the Orbital Launch Integration Tower, where they will be repositioned and re-flown within an hour, Musk said.

Elon Musk envisions humanity's future on Mars, driven by the need to safeguard civilization from Earth's existential threats. SpaceX's Starship and Starbase are pivotal in realizing this vision, aiming for a self-sustaining Martian city of a million people.
