Nintendo has announced that more than 152.12 million Nintendo Switch consoles have now been sold worldwide. In the year ended 31 March 2025, the company sold 10.8 million Nintendo Switch consoles and 155.41 million games. It has forecast to sell 4.5 million consoles and 105 million games in the current financial year, ending 31 March 2026.

Despite any criticisms or challenges that may exist for the soon-to-be-released Switch 2 handheld, Nintendo expects to have a banner year in terms of sales.
