Die Pfarrkirche St. Martin ist eine der ältesten Pfarren in Nö. Sie wurde von Bischof Altmann von Passau 1072 nach Stift Göttweig gewidmet und wurde am 9. September 1083 erstmals urkundlich erwähnt.
