Petal Police Department Chief Matthew Hiatt said a 21-year-old woman was shot and killed Saturday night in the 200 block of West Fourth Avenue.

Authorities have identified the man found dead Sunday morning in Petal. Forrest County Deputy Coroner Lisa Klem identified the victim as Rodney Gann, 22, of Hattiesburg.
