City Council has approved the purchase of a $2.2 million fire truck that’s expected to enhance emergency response times throughout the city.

The Pittsfield Fire Department welcomed a brand-new 2025 Pierce Saber firetruck on Friday morning, which will serve the department for the next 20 years.
