Firefighters are responding to a grass fire that started near North Auburn on Wednesday afternoon, officials said. According to Cal Fire, the fire is burning near Bell Road and Orr Creek Lane.

A new wildfire was reported today at 2:17 p.m. in Placer County, California. Bell Fire has burned 0.8 acres of private land.
