“Mayday, mayday, mayday, mayday!” the pilot responded, according to air traffic radio transmissions recorded on LiveATC.net. It appeared to be his last transmission before the twin-engine aircraft crashed about 5 miles off the coast about 12:30 p.m.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, six people were injured, but officials said there were no casualties. The crash happened Sunday afternoon in Tullahoma, Tennessee. Officials said there were 20 people on board, including crew members, when the skydiving plane crashed shortly after takeoff.
Twenty people were on board the plane, which crashed shortly after departing Tullahoma Regional Airport. There were no deaths, and the injuries were described as minor.

Authorities arrived on scene quickly and transferred at least six people to hospitals while the others were taken care of by emergency services on scene.
A plane crashed in Coffey County, Tennessee, with 16 to 20 people on board the aircraft. Officials said the passengers were airlifted to hospitals.
