Flag football, sanctioned in 16 states as the sport has added hundreds of thousands of players in recent years, now has official NFHS rules.

Despite battling stormy weather, the CIAC held an inaugural flag football event on Saturday at Windsor High School to crown a state champion. Windsor was one of the many times that hit the gridiron.
