A man said he was verbally and physically assaulted when he tried to protect someone from ripping down Pride banners in D.C.

For the second year in a row, someone tore down Pride banners outside Marble Collegiate Church in Manhattan.

The Metropolitan Police Department responded to several incidents of vandalism to Pride decorations in recent days.
