The festival typically runs from April 1 to April 30. However, four of the five tulip farms will now be open until Sunday, May 4.

Tulip season isn't over. Three Skagit Valley farms are extending their season until Sunday for an extra chance to visit the sea of colors.

Originally scheduled to wrap on April 30, the extension gives visitors a few more days to enjoy the floral displays.
