The UK’s Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero has granted development consent to the 1,500MW Mona offshore wind project.

The UK government has announced its first-ever onshore wind strategy, in an effort to increase renewable power capacity.

The strategy outlines steps for ministers and industry to take to build wind farms across the country’s landscape over the next five years.
