MILWAUKEE — There’s no mystery regarding what has sparked the Minnesota Twins on their 13-game winning streak. Their pitching staff is on a roll unlike any before in Twins history.

Burow drew two walks — Twins pitchers issued 10 total — and scored four runs in the opener. McLean started on the hill and went four innings, allowing one hit, four hits and three unearned runs.

McLean’s two-run double was the big hit in a four-run fifth inning that put the Rangers up 9-0. Kootenai Valley drew another 11 walks (and two hit batters), and Burow scored three more runs.
