Police arrested a man on Sunday who allegedly shot dead a Democratic state lawmaker and her husband while posing as a police officer, according to ABC News, citing several sources.

The man suspected of shooting two Democratic lawmakers and their spouses was arrested and charged after a two-day manhunt involving more than 100 officers.

A Minnesota lawmaker and her husband were shot and killed in an apparent “politically-motivated assassination,” Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz said. Sen. John Hoffman was also shot.
